A New Old Game?

You have found an old NES game at a garage sale for cheap, and need some games to play in your free time at college, so you dump the files from it to your computer, but something has come with it.  You send the files to someone that can remake the game with the same graphics, but a few were corrupted so he made new, HD ones.  You find out that one of the new graphics is a bit off, and the playable protagonist has a mind of his own now.  Can you finish the game, and whatever comes next?

Game Style

The game is based off of old RPG games like the original Legend of Zelda game.

    Michael:  The main character.  He looks a lot different than the rest of the game, but it's rude to judge people by there looks, right?
